　　I wouldn't say this is the best trip I have ever taken, because other trips have got different parts of memory to cherish.
　　All I can say now is that I have absolutely enjoyed the trip this time and again, it's not just the place and tourist attractions that amazed me, it's more about the company and how u treat yourself!!
　　And I do have a confession to make. Though I just arrived from a relatively long trip, I am currently planning to go on another one shortly!!

　　Was thinking about updating a new log, but just dropped that idea. Well, guess it's really important how I feel myself.
　　After preparing so many documents, yup, it took me about 1 month in total running here and there, finally went to Swiss Embassy. Luckily it seems there was not so complicated once you've met all the requirements. Though I still don't understand why I was required that way.
　　Heading to Thailand in several days. The last time I went there was 2004.
　　4 years, long enough to change everything, long enough to change nothing. Am I still the one I once was? I am and I am not.

　　寒风席卷京城可真是一点儿也不错。 周围的朋友无一不是在complain about it. 多说也是无用吧，只好羡慕去香港的Annabelle，去Manila的Eddie，当然还有已经远在曼谷的Byron.
　　 
　　话说回来，天气这么冷，也还是没有穿long underwear. 不是说为了赶时髦，只是因为学校的heating实在是太好了，穿tee都不过分。自己也只好带上灰色的围巾，在路上冻一冻了！
　　 
　　本来在图书馆准备把<Tomorrow, when the war began>看完，因为最近实在总是在给自己找借口。刚刚坐在沙发上，就看到Michelle Yip，于是聊了起来，从而也知道了除了下周六下午的charity concert，今天在theatre也请来了pi......    (查看原文)

　　I would have to say that this might be the best concert I have been to. I am not ashamed to say that I was dancing nearly the whole time and nearly wet myself when Kylie started singing 'I Should Be So Lucky.'
　　I am so lucky to have seen her concert in person. Amazing!

　　最近總是混跡在開心和facebook上，基本上荒廢了blog和豆瓣。連續被數個朋友催來催去的要我來更新。面對著屏幕沒有什麽好說的。
　　開始準備明年簽證的一些材料，三個目的地要三個不同的簽證，這應該是有史以來最麻煩的一次了吧！

　　Woke up not too early to catch the flight to Lijiang. The traffic is a bit too heavy that we nearly missed the flight. Or we can simply blame ourselves for not getting up early enough.
　　Arrived at Lijiang airport. Man, it’s small and rather cramped. Walked around the Lijiang Old Town and simply fell in love with the neighborhood. Unfortunately, even this place is now flooded by loads and loads of tourists. And now I am glad we made the decision going to visit Lugu Lake running away from all the people.

　　 Summer is gone just like all my KIWI friends I have made this summer. Guess there is always and end to your life, no matter you like it or not. But it's also up to you to keep the friendship or relationship with someone, at least it's up to you in the first place.

　　再多的想念明年的我也還是不會踏足蘇格蘭的吧。畢竟還有更多歐洲的國家需要去親眼見識。
　　近日忙著和朋友們吃吃喝喝。已經將照片和相關信息遞交給了WAB，上班的當日直接去取work ID就可以了。事情還算是順利。只是不知道在Paralympics結束之前能不能再回去IBC一趟了。畢竟時間太過於緊迫了。

　　從暗暗決定嘗試在國際學校工作開始，我的心就無時不刻的在嚮往著。在面試前朋友們對我不斷的鼓勵讓我信心滿滿。I know that I only need to be myself because there is absolutely no point hiding who you really are. If they think you are the perfect candidate for the job, you will get it; or you will just struggle once you start working there after you put on an act in the interview.
　　面試比我想象中的要隨意而且順利很多。第二天中午就接到了人事的電話希望我能到崗。在電話中委婉的要求到希望能夠再有一周的調整期，讓我處理一些domestic business，然後能夠更加全身心的投入到工作中去。
　　昨天晚上在Saddle那裡的surprise party著實fun得緊。那裡的Margaritas實在是好喝，尤其是happy hour更是讓人out of control.名義上是為Ian慶生，但是我這消息traveled too fast，結果害得我搶了一部分風頭。只是為此還讓我失約于夏林和Jason。Well, 希望明天下午他們能夠賞臉和我們一起在鼓樓旁邊......    (查看原文)

　　雖然已經結束工作一周的時間了，可是事情還是一波接一波的在我電話上提醒我，I am still worth trust by all those kiwis and I should be happy keep receiving all the invitations though I may not feel up to any of them.
　　今晚就應該去Keith Quinn (對，就是寫Leave Chinese Alone的那名記者)的Birthday Party，但是依照我的個性，十有八九應該skip了。畢竟今天已經趕了一場，而且昨天甚至趕了三場。買相機，去Olive吃午飯，買眼鏡，去Sofitel喝Mojito，去後海的roof top bar喝cosmopolitan，排長隊買蝴蝶酥，去Fish Nation吃Fish & Chips，當然這些都不重要，重要的是和朋友們相處的愉悅時光。

　　已經想不起來上次去長城是什麽時候了。當然，頤和園也好，故宮也好都已經很久很久沒有去了。近水樓臺的道理在這裡反而不適用吧。在你居住的城市裡面的旅遊景點大部分人都會take it for granted吧。
　　這次不一樣，除了是去長城腳下的社區負責部分的野長城外，company is quite an important part. Those kiwi friends are just awesome. Guys, you made my day though I was totally drunk the following night.

　　已经去看过了彩排，田径，击剑和体操，但是一直还是没有时间去传说中的水立方。由于最近是游泳决赛阶段，票源非常紧张，很多RTb带4，5标志的工作人员都进不去。为了不带着遗憾，我就去BOB Booking要了票。然后我就亲眼见证了M Phelps拿到八金的历史时刻。
　　To be frank, it’s not that impressive inside the water cube, at least not as impressive as I expected. Anyway， 从媒体区偷偷跑到运动员去看比赛的感觉也还是不错的。看到一堆美国梦八的球员，日本队的啦啦队也很有趣，当然还有大M去观众席亲吻老妈时媒体的围追堵截也值回票价了。（当然，我一分钱也没花）
　　给JW打电话，结果这孩子比赛结束了才回过来。我去高级媒体区看比赛的愿望也就落空了。出门的时候看到Tony Blair。这鹰钩鼻子先生本人倒没有那么威风。反而是新西兰hockey的Dean和David还有熊猫发型的......    (查看原文)

　　一场大雨，把天空洗刷成了蓝色。北京的夏天难得有大风，我们只能盼得大雨了。昨天把雨伞借给了还在学校学习的Tiffany，小姑娘露出感激之情，我却觉得只是应该做的罢了。
　　记得那日大雨，你们赤身躺在床上。克突然间挺起身，久久地望着窗外瓢泼的大雨，然后说，世界是我们的游泳池，雨水在给我们机会。
　　透过窗口透进来的微弱日光，你望着克背部的剪影，就颤抖了起来。因为你知道，即使此刻你拥有克的心，克也不会永远停留在你的身边。

　　现在的工作终于开始可以take shifts了，反而稍稍觉得有些落寞。Imogen is quite cool to work with.
　　开幕式的时候在IBC四层的studio里面向前看是高清电视，回头是鸟瞰国家体育场和奥林匹克公园的烟火。他比烟花更寂寞？我没有觉得。
　　JW这个大好人，自己跑去看开幕式，现场给我电话直播分享盛况，回来还送给我开幕式的goodie bag。I owe u big, man!

　　办公室里面还是一如既往的冷。穿着ZARA的横条cardigan也还是冷冷冷。所以偶尔跑一趟satellite farm竟然也已经成了美差。因为可以活动一下筋骨，暖和一下。
　　昨天开始北京地铁的line 8也就是奥运专线终于开通了。我接到memo之后也兴奋的去尝试了一八。除了在与10号线倒车的时候有一些麻烦之外，总体来说还是不错的。尤其是让我回家的时间缩短到了半个小时之内。今天上午就满怀欢畅的又想要尝试一把，结果就被现实狠狠地打了一巴掌。在10号线换乘的时候你要先出站，然后兜一个大圈子，然后过security 也就是安全检查。由于是所有去奥运会主要场馆的工作人员都要在这里进行检查，长长的队伍......    (查看原文)

　　天气依然是燥热无比。浑浑噩噩的桑拿天气时我站在Satellite Farm的广场上和Rich等着IBC排爆队的检查。A short conversation brought up so many topics. He is such a fun and talkative guy.
　　IBC的security check比我想象的要严格许多。每天进入之前都要排很长时间的队伍，然后无论我怎么小心仔细的将身上的物件一个一个的放在随身的Puma包里，警报器还是响个不停。I think I can’t help it after all.
　　眼睛还是因为天气的原因有些浮肿，清晨耳边的鸟叫已经消失不见，房间里的空调吹得太猛让我有些招架不住。
　　一不小心将iPod里面的歌曲删去了大半。也好。开始从CD假上拿出一些很久没有听过的老歌，Chemical Brothers, Lamb, 王菲, Alanis Morissette, Mazzy Star等......    (查看原文)
